About ARI

Arts Research Institute, in short known as ARI, is a registered public charitable trust.

 The trust was founded by Dr.M.Renuka on 17th October 2005 with following persons as the first trustees of the trust:

  1. Dr. Renuka.M, Ph.D.
  2. Mr. Suresh K. Manoharan
  3. Mr. Kathiravan.R.C
  4. Mr. Parasuraman.B

 The trust was registered in Periyanaicken Palayam Sub-Registrar Office, Coimbatore, on 7th February 2006 and the registration number is 102/2006.

Objects of the trust

This trust   is created with the following objects and such activities shall be restricted within India irrespective of caste, creed, race, community or religion:

  • To conduct research on the hidden knowledge of ancient indigenous Indian arts like varmam and other related arts and treat health related problems, with or without traditional medicines.
  • To organize varmam medical camps to enhance the well being of the society, irrespective of caste, creed, race, community or religion.
  • To treat economically downtrodden people free of cost and also to provide free treatment with the help of allopathy, siddha, ayurvedic doctors and volunteers.
  • To establish varmam medical service centres and varmam massage centres throughout India.

The above activities shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Thirumoolar Varmam Research and Therapy Centre.

  • To collect, preserve and compile all published and unpublished texts, Manuscripts and Books on siddha medicines and construct the original form of siddha medicine and form the bibliography of siddha text.
  • To publish research papers, journals and books on siddha medicine and form a siddha library to provide guidance to siddha research and enhance the knowledge of siddha doctors and traditional siddha practitioners.
  • To find out and expose eminent scholars among the traditional siddha practitioners.
  • To research and publish articles and books on siddhars’ life and periods, with the help of internal and external evidence.
  • To unify siddha medical concepts by correlating Tamil siddha concepts with other Indian states traditional medical treatments.

The above activities shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Thirumoolar Siddha Medicinal Research Centre.

  • To collect, preserve and compile all published and unpublished texts Manuscripts and Books on yoga techniques of siddhars and construct the original yoga techniques of siddhars and publish research papers, journals and books.

The above activity shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Siddhar Yoga Research Centre.

  • To collect, preserve and compile all published and unpublished texts, Manuscripts and Books on various Indian martial arts techniques like Kalari, Adimurai, Kuthuvarisai, Silambam, Siramam and etc. and publish research papers, journals and books.
  • To find out and expose eminent masters among the traditional Indian martial arts.

The above activities shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Indian Martial Arts Academy and Research Centre.

  • To collect, preserve and compile all published and unpublished texts, Manuscripts and Books on Manthram and Tantric techniques.
  • To research on the physical and psychological impact of Manthram and Tantric applications on human being, animals, birds, aquatic beings and non-living beings and publish research papers, journals and books.

The above activities shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Tamil Manthram and Tantric Research Centre.

  • To collect, preserve and compile published and unpublished texts, Manuscript and Books on various Indian occult studies like Palmistry, Anga sastra, Dhoni sastra, Vasthu sastra, Virutcha sastra, Nimitha sastra, and etc. and publish research papers, journals and books.

The above activity shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Indian Occult Studies Research Centre.

  • To provide free medical aid to the economically downtrodden people.

The above activity shall be carried on by Division of the Trust under the name and style of Nadamadum Koil Welfare Centre.

  • To publish research papers, journals and books in Tamil Language.
  • To conduct periodic meetings, lectures, conferences, training programs, workshops, seminars and etc. on Tamil language and other arts mentioned in the above objects.

It is hereby declared that the activities and objects carried on by the different divisions stated in the objects clause shall always belong to the Trust and shall be administered and governed by the Trust and the financial accounts of in respect of all the Divisions shall be consolidated.

It is hereby declared that none of the above objects are intended for the benefit of any particular caste, creed, race, community or religion.

It is further declared that the above objects of the trust shall be carried out only in India.
